3. How We Use Your Information

  • To send RSVP notification emails to event hosts
  • To process subscription payments
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
  • To improve the Service and diagnose technical issues

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use guest RSVP data for advertising.

4. Guest Data and Host Responsibility

Guest RSVP data is collected on behalf of the event host. Hosts can view and export this data from their dashboard. Hosts are responsible for using guest data only for the purposes of managing their event. Desinvite acts as a data processor for guest information submitted through host event pages.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:
  • Supabase — database and authentication hosting
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Vercel — application hosting
Each of these services has its own privacy policy and security practices.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and event data for as long as your account is active. Guest RSVP data is retained as long as the associated event exists in your account. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and secure authentication. However, no system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of non-essential communications
To exercise these rights, email us at support@desinvite.com.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and local storage to maintain your login session and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us to have it removed.
