By accessing or using Desinvite ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Desinvite is an online platform that allows users to create digital invitations for events, share them with guests, and collect RSVPs. The Service is intended for personal and family event use.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Guest Data and RSVPs
When guests submit RSVPs through your event page, the following information may be collected on your behalf: name, email address, phone number, attendance status, guest count, meal preferences, and optional messages. You, as the event host, are responsible for handling this guest data appropriately and not sharing it with unauthorized third parties.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Create spam or fraudulent events
- Collect guest data for purposes unrelated to the event
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or guests
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
6. Subscription Plans and Payments
Desinvite offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed as described on the pricing page. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support@desinvite.com within 7 days of a charge for refund requests.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the content you create (event details, descriptions, images). By using the Service, you grant Desinvite a limited license to display and deliver your content to your invited guests solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@desinvite.com.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Desinvite does not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Desinvite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
